I've been thinking of ways to get actively involved in this movement and how to productively participate. I did this piece, a few weeks ago and I think the theme is fitting for this time;

So here's my plan, 100% of profits from downloads of this artwork will be split between ACLU Minnesota and Urban Roots. Sales will be donated every 2 weeks until the end of August.

Info about the Organizations:

The ACLU of Minnesota promotes, protects, and extends the civil liberties and civil rights of people in Minnesota through litigation, lobbying, and community engagement. Currently, they are demanding an independent prosecutor to investigate the officers involved in George Floyd's death and suing police who are attacking journalists. https://www.aclu-mn.org/en

Urban Roots is a Saint Paul-based nonprofit building vibrant, healthy communities through food, conservation & youth development. They provide a range of community development services in Minnesota, including architecture, urban planning, and economic development. They are currently running food drives in the Twin Cities for hunger relief efforts. https://urbanrootsmn.org/
